Hyenaz is a multifaceted duo based in Berlin with works on sound, video, performance and more. I discovered them when I first stumbled upon a picture like the one here 
I became an instant fan and later on we met for a collaboration.
Today, they’re releasing their EP «Proximity» on the label SPRINGSTOFF, with 5 different remixes including this one. The original version extrapolates sounds from a network of stuttering frogs in the Yorta Yorta country (Australia). Ultimately, the reaction of frogs to visitors’ presence and movement developed into this piece of organic wetland techno.
